About Althea · Start here: invitation and first access · Using your app · Measurement guides · I need help
This guide follows the updated welcome email supplied on 29 October 2026. It explains how to accept your invitation, open Althea and add an access icon to your device. Keep access to the email account named in your invitation.
Your journey: email → accept invitation → open app → optionally create a shortcut → open the menu → complete onboarding.
1. Recognise your welcome email
The supplied Spanish email has the subject “Tu invitación a ALTEA Client | Althea Health Services”. The example is from John Londono Rios, JohnLondono@anti-aging-nt.com, and starts with “Te damos la bienvenida a ALTEA”. “ALTEA Client” is the app name used in this email.
Scroll down to see “Tu primer acceso” (Your first access), “Tu aplicación, a un clic” (Your app, one click away) and the device instructions. Spanish button labels below match the supplied email; English explanations help you identify them.
2. Complete your first access
1. Select “Acceder a mi consultorio” (Access my consultation space) in your own welcome email. This is the first button. Accept the invitation before creating a shortcut.
2. Use exactly the email address shown in your welcome message. If Microsoft displays another account, choose the option to switch or use another account.
3. If Microsoft asks you to accept the organisation’s invitation, check the organisation name and accept to continue.
4. Complete the verification shown. If a code is sent to your email, read the message, return to the Microsoft screen and enter the code there.
5. When finished, return to the welcome email and use the second button to open Althea.
You do not need to create an email address belonging to our organisation. Keep your invitation, passwords and verification codes private.
3. Your app, one click away
Find “Tu aplicación, a un clic” and select “Abrir ALTEA Client” (Open ALTEA Client). This is the app link to use when creating your shortcut, after completing the invitation.
A shortcut is an icon that opens the app so you do not have to find the welcome email every time. It does not remove sign-in requirements. Use your invited account whenever asked. Microsoft and Power Apps may appear during access because Althea uses these services.
Choose your device: iPhone or iPad · Android or Samsung · Windows · Mac. You can also continue directly from the email link without adding an icon.
iPhone or iPad · Safari
1. Open the “Abrir ALTEA Client” app link in Safari. If your email opens another browser or an internal window, look for Open in Safari if available.
2. Select Share, the square with an upward arrow. Depending on your version, it may be inside the page menu.
3. Select Add to Home Screen. If Open as Web App appears, turn it on.
4. Confirm the name ALTEA Client and select Add.
5. Find and open the new Home Screen icon. Sign in with your invited email account if requested.
Android · Samsung and other phones · Chrome
1. Open the “Abrir ALTEA Client” app link in Chrome.
2. Open the three-dot menu.
3. Look for Install and create shortcut → Create shortcut. Some versions show Add to Home screen instead.
4. Confirm the name ALTEA Client and select Add. Confirm again if your phone asks.
5. Find the Home Screen icon and open it. Complete sign-in if requested.
Windows · Desktop shortcut
1. In your welcome email, right-click “Abrir ALTEA Client” and select the option to copy the link.
2. On the Windows desktop, right-click an empty area and select New → Shortcut.
3. Paste the link into the field and select Next.
4. Enter ALTEA Client as the name and select Finish.
5. Open the desktop icon. The app opens in your browser; sign in with your invited account if requested.
Mac · Safari
1. Open the “Abrir ALTEA Client” app link in Safari.
2. Select Share, the square with an upward arrow, and choose Add to Dock.
3. Confirm the name ALTEA Client and select Add.
4. Find the icon in the Dock, the bar containing your apps. Open it and sign in if requested.
Menu labels and available options vary by system and browser version. If an option is missing, open the app link directly in the indicated browser and continue there.
Important: create the shortcut from the app link, not from the temporary invitation acceptance or verification page. Return to your welcome email if access fails.
4. Your next step: onboarding
Onboarding is the initial welcome and information-gathering process for your programme.
1. Find “My process”. The reviewed view shows “My day” and “My process” near the top. Select “My process” to check your case status. It is also listed in the ☰ menu at the top left. In the Spanish interface these labels are “Mi día” and “Mi proceso”.
Real screen example: case unavailable. “My day” may show “Your case is not available. Open My process to check its status.” In the reviewed session, “My process” then displayed the Spanish message “Tu caso no está disponible. El consultorio te indicará cuándo continuar” (Your case is not available. The practice will tell you when to continue). If this appears, contact your practitioner to check your access and case. Signing in does not guarantee that your case steps are available.
When your process is available: follow the steps displayed in the app. The points below describe the intended journey; onboarding forms and controls still require checking with an enabled case.
2. Check your details and complete the information requested on each screen.
3. Read documents and conditions before recording your response. Contact your practitioner if you have questions.
4. Use the save and continue controls shown on screen. Wait for confirmation before leaving.
5. Complete the remaining steps shown for your case, such as consent, the financial agreement or the health questionnaire. Follow the order presented in your app.
6. When returning later, check which steps are complete and continue with those still outstanding.
Editorial review pending: this onboarding outline follows the agreed process. Exact published menu names, controls, order and confirmation messages still require checking in the app. Real screenshots will be added before publication.
If you cannot sign in
Missing email: search for “ALTEA”, “Althea” or “Tu invitación” and check junk mail. If you cannot find it, contact your practitioner through your usual channel and confirm your email address.
Wrong account: switch to the invited email address. If the browser keeps using another account, try a private browsing window and open your personal invitation there.
Missing verification code: check the invited account’s inbox and junk folder. If you requested several codes, use the newest one. Never share it.
Invitation error or access denied: reply to your welcome email. Describe your device and the error message. If you send a screenshot, hide verification codes, passwords and personal details. Your practitioner will need to check your access.
Althea opens but onboarding is missing: tell your practitioner which screen opens and what menu options are visible so your case can be checked.
Keep help within reach
Keep this guide and your welcome email. The help centre will bring together app instructions and measurement guides. Never publish or share personal invitation links.
